Mother Theresa Post Graduate and Research Institute of Health Sciences M.Sc Nursing Admission Test (MTPG&RIHS M.Sc Nursing Admission Test) is conducted by the Government of Pondicherry for admitting candidates for the M.Sc nursing course. Candidates can opt for the given three sections:

Structure of MTPG&RIHS M.Sc Nursing Admission Test

The Mother Theresa Post Graduate and Research Institute of Health Sciences M.Sc Nursing Admission Test (MTPG&RIHS M.Sc Nursing Admission Test) will be having hundred questions for duration of ninety minutes. Candidates, who are sponsored by Health Department of Government of Puducherry & JIPMER, need not attend this entrance exam. For all others this exam is compulsory. Questions will be from the subjects applicants have studied during their B.Sc nursing course.

The candidates with a degree in B.Sc nursing are eligible. Candidates should have completed this 4 year or 3 year course from an institution recognized by INC. Minimum of 55%u0025 marks is required for applying to this course. The applicant should be registered with the Nursing Council of India and they should have an experience of 1 year. Candidate should register again with the Tamil Nadu Nursing Council if he / she had registered with any other state.

How to Apply?

Forms are available by hand or by post from the Registrar, Mother Theresa Post-Graduate & Research Institute Of Health Sciences, Indira Nagar, Gorimedu, Puducherry-605 006

Candidates need to pay an amount of Rs 750/- for getting the form. SC /ST candidates need to pay only half of that amount which is Rs 350/-.This amount should be paid as DD in favour of the The Dean, Mother Theresa Post Graduate & Research Institute of Health Sciences, Puducherry.

How to fill the Form?

The completed application form should reach the concerned office before the dead line. So candidate should send the completed application in such a way that it should reach the office at the correct time. Please make sure that all the documents mentioned in the application form are send along with form. Otherwise the form will be rejected. Before filling the form candidate should read all the information given for filling the form in the applications form.
