Hi Chaitali, i think the first post explains the rules very well.

However, let me put it down again. U just have to vote for the member u think fits best in the category. There are NO pre-defined nominations, so u can vote for any member u like.

As for as getting the vote is concerned.... there is no official guide to it.... Do BBM.... Beg, Bribe or Manipulate... :big_grin: but not in the thread. :becky:

How about Awarding a trophy too with the certificate.

We gave 2 trophies in Mithibai Festival last year...

G) User with the highest number of thanks i.e. the one who has been most thankful - Gaurav I guess?
Nah, has to be Vijith...he'll thank you even if you give your intro!!

H) User with highest number of thanked posts - I think that's very similar to the "Most number of points" category - which means either one of them is redundant.

I) User with the highest spamming rate - No doubt - Akash_arny!!

J) Best Avtar in Mp.com (alongwith a reason for it being the best) - Mine, because Michael Schumacher is the best there ever can be!!

K) User with the best signature (alongwith a reason as above) - Ditto; Schumi n' Ferrari are the 'crème de la crème' of F1...

L) The user starting the max number of threads - Don't know, don't care....

M) The user having posted the best project - No idea....though I loved Gaurav's "CAT Material" post, which I think should be included in this category...

N) Highest Shouts in the ShoutBox - This isn't a vote.....a vote is on someting which is subjective by nature. A vote is about people's opinions.....not facts. It's like having a category of "Biggest planet in the Solar system", or "Largest....ah, nevermind, you get the drift... :aj1:



I love Mp.com because love is a strong positive emotion of regard and affection which I feel on seeing the eccentric and anserine specimens here, which allows me to see just how many people in this world have trouble comprehending sarcasm, or lack a sense of humour, or are just plain cretins! :aj:


P.S. I have a feeling my catch-line isn't gonna win.... :aj1:

Well..... friends,

the proposed time limit for the Mp.com awards' voting is up... but i have seen that many people haven't voted as yet, even though they booked their space.... Moreover, despite 4500+ members of Mp.com, the count has been rather less... So

i propose to extend the time limit to
Sunday, 6th August.... 7:00 p.m.

Do ensure that u vote before that........

Well Folks,
The end of this week end, with the end of the Friendship Day also comes the end of the night of the Mp.com Awards......... and i guess u guys

The results were almost good, except in some, where i can't decide a clear winner..... So this is the list of winners.......


A) Highest Poster

Vijit win hands down for this category. He got all the votes



B) Poster with highest nmber of points

Kartik is the winner in this category with 6 votes. 1 vote went to Bondonraj



 C) User being online for the maximum amount of time

Kind of a toughie....
However, Kartik wins in this category (4 votes) with
Maxdroit and Bhavin being the runner-up (3 votes each)
Vengabeats gets 2 votes and Gaurav & Vishal 1 vote each



D) Most Helpful User

This has been the most fuzzy category, with a lot of nominations. However, the final votes are like this...

Bondonraj, Chaitali and Deya (2 votes each)
