In order to ensure the accuracy of the statistical treatment of the data obtained, an SPSS software will be used. The software will do the computations and analysis of the data gathered. The use of SPSS software can also save the research funds since it will be eliminating the need for manpower to do manual computations and analysis of the data.

Since most SPSS software require minimum and maximum number of respondents in order to interpret the data, it is important that the minimum requirement be met in order to make use of the software successfully. As stated earlier, the number of respondents for the interview will be 1000 as this is the most common minimum requirement of the majority of SPSS software in the market.

Time and cost considerations are important in any research endeavour. These considerations will allow the research team to appropriate fund accordingly. Resources are important in ensuring the success of the research. Given that the research is not a big one, the costs of the conducting it is expected to be minimal on the part of the company contracting the research. Presenting a table with the cost considerations will allow the company to determine if they are getting their money’s worth.

On the other hand, time considerations as essential especially in the case of Larghall. They have a deadline to meet, which is summer of 2006, if they want to be able to implement the decision by the holiday season of the same year. The time considerations will ensure that the deadline will be met. Nevertheless, the time table will be utilized to ensure that all of the necessary tasks will be completed on the due data. As such, working under time constraint will be compromise the quality of the research itself.

This section of the proposal will be introducing the members of the research that will be handling the Larghall Leisure Ltd market and social research. This is being done to ensure that the researchers are qualified individuals. The Curriculum Vitae of the research team members will be presented to assure Larghall Leisure Ltd that that will be handled by professionals who have the capability of delivering the kinds of services that they require.

Dr. John Kline will be heading the research team for Larghall. He has a doctorate on Social Psychology. From 2000 to 2002, he was the market research director and workshop facilitator for a pharmaceutical company. During his term he developed a research tool for product positioning that allowed the company to triple its sales within the first 24 months. In 1999, Dr, Kline co-founded a company that aims to develop and successfully commercialize research tools – No Brainer. Some of the services being offered by the company are online suggestion box and idea generator.

Dawn Berger and Mark Stein will join Dr. Kline as resident data collectors. They will be the ones responsible for conducting the interviews. Both Dawn and Mark have MRS Advanced Certificate in Market and Social Research Practice. Berger have a PhD in Communication. She was a market researcher for various multinational companies. Her tasks included conducting original researches the will help companies become familiar with the market base and find their own niche in the market.

On the other hand, Mark Stein has an MBA in Marketing Research. He also worked as a market researcher for a Canadian based company. His duties required him to survey current customers regarding the services of the company. He also conducted studies of the potential market by investigating the perception of the potential market of the company’s strengths and weakness compared to the competition.

Marge Whitaker completes the roster of the research team. She has a degree in Economics and Mathematics, which makes her adept to statistical analyses. Her researches with a number of notable people in the academe allowed to harness her abilities in marketing sound analysis of the data provided.
