- Clarity of objectives,quantifiability of results,Predictibility of interfaces Repetitiveness of activities are the 4 criteria.
- In Routine control the objectives are clear, result quantifiable, interfaces predictable,,& activities repeated.
- In Expert Control all criteria are fulfilled except the criterion that the activities are not repetitive.
- Experts are the people who have in depth knowledge about procedures & processes & hence capable of exercising control.
- In trial & error control standard operating procedures cannot be devised.
- Intuitive control is seen in project based NPOs where each project is unique & each project has to be approved by top management.
- Political control generally occurs at the top level where the objectives get clarified.
- Judgemental control is used when objectives are clear but results non quantifiable.
