National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela announced admission for Master of Technology (M.Tech) research program in Engineering, Science, Management and Humanities & Social Sciences for the session 2015-16.
Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech (Research) Programs 2015:
Candidates should have any one of the following:
# B.E /B.Tech /B.Pharm /MCA or equivalent in relevant discipline with at least 60 % marks or 6.5 CGPA in aggregate.
# M.Sc in Basic Sciences with 60 % marks or 6.5 CGPA in aggregate in relevant disciplines.
# M.B.B.S/B.V.Sc with 60 % marks or 6.5 CGPA in aggregate.
# Additionally candidates having the following qualification can also apply for M.Tech (Research) in Management and Humanities & Social Sciences:
# M.A /MBA /M.Com /M. Sc in Humanities, or Social Sciences or Management with 60 % marks or 6.5 CGPA.
# M.Sc in Basic Sciences with 60 % marks or 6.5 CGPA in aggregate in relevant disciplines.
# M.B.B.S/B.V.Sc with 60 % marks or 6.5 CGPA in aggregate.
# Additionally candidates having the following qualification can also apply for M.Tech (Research) in Management and Humanities & Social Sciences:

# Selection will be made on the basis of academic record, relevance of qualification, candidate’s research interest, existing research programs and facilities of the departments, and performance in tests and/or interviews.
