I JUST CAME ACROSS AN INTERESTING QUESTION AS TO "WHAT WOULD BE THE LOGISTICS MISSION OF A COMPANY DEALING IN SOFTWARE TECNOLOGY?".WOULD IT BE THE SAME AS ANY OTHER INDUSTRY OR DIFFERENT.

there are lots of things for logistics even in IT com. supposedly, logs mainly means coordination which can ensure the timely completion of projects. even predictive maintannance which is part of logictics can be implemented for IT products.
and if even that is not enough, logistics is mainly client servicing or value addtion for proportionally less price, which can be ensured by logistics.

LOGISTICS is the only thng in management that does nt do ne value addition

it is or it only saves time and reduce cost...no value addition...
these r only 2 fuctions of logs..

but nowawayz economists n management gurus n log experts r thrivin 2 invent methods of value addition within logistics;

Eg: Packaging of A particular good during transport from destination A to B via ship..thts value addittion..
