Learn face reading (Physiognomy)

:SugarwareZ-191: Learn face reading (Physiognomy):SugarwareZ-191:

The best way to learn face reading is by going through each face feature and see what personality trait does it reveal, and then go test it on the people you know. After that you should get back to learn another one and so on. although this is a good method, no one do it because every one becomes very enthusiastic about learning and so he reads everything at one time. Still this is not bad, but learning to notice the face features themselves is what needs some training , below are links to every face feature, each link will take you to a page that explains the face feature, how to notice it and the related personality trait .

Forhead Profile

Forehead shape determines the method of thinking that person uses (not intelligence). There are three types of forehead profiles, sloped forehead (when viewed from the side), straight forehead, and round forehead. Below is an explanation to each type:

  • The straight forehead (the progressive thinker): The progressive thinker, this person thinks in progressive style. He can't jump to the third point without first knowing the second. Sometimes he is misunderstood as a child and thought of as dumb, but in fact, he may be more intelligent than everyone but it's just his progressive style of thinking needs to be taken into consideration. Also, this person may not have a fast reflex action response, that's if, he dropped something he may not be able to catch it before it reaches the ground. He may have problems working under pressure as he needs more time to think progressively, that may make him lose control in the last ten minutes of exams.
  • The slopped forehead (the fast responder): That person builds conclusions fast to an extent that he may interrupt you many times when talking because he keeps on guessing what you want to say. This person may get bored talking to someone with a straight forehead because of the speed difference between them. The response of that person is very fast, and that's why you will see most football players or basket ball players have slopped foreheads, and most likely when a player have straight forehead he doesn't become that good because of his slow response, and again we say, this is not related to intelligence at all. Last thing to mention is that person is fast on taking decisions too which may make him fall in problems sometimes.
  • The curved forehead (the creative): This person is very creative, just notice how the forehead for people who study fine arts look like, you will notice that most of them have curved forehead. That person hates restrictions and rules, he likes to use imagination instead, that's why he may hate math and accounting but excel in arts. When the forhead is curved and occupies a big part of the head, that person may tend to be very intelligent or even a genius. You can ask that person if you need a creative soloution to a problem you are facing.

Eye to Eyebrow Distance

The eye to eyebrows distance is the vertical distance between the eye and the eyebrows. Some people have their eyebrows almost touching their eyes while others have a clear distance between the eye and the eyebrows. This distance can tell you how fast someone can put a decision into action, that is how fast that person can put his plans or feelings into actions. See below the difference between different types of people.

Someone with big distance (wait and see approach ): That person uses the wait and see approach, he never rushes into things, when he goes shopping he may visit all shops to end up not buying anything then he may come days later to buy. This person can be slower in building relations and if you are a very social person actually he may be a little shocked by your approach when knowing him because he needs some time to get used to knowing you. When this person hesitates don't try to push him, just leave him to take his time in order not to bother him.

Someone with small distance or almost no distance (just do it approach): that person is beloved by sales people because usually when he goes shopping that means that he will buy everything from the time without hesitating or coming back later, he may even buy things that he doesn't need then throw them later. This person cannot wait to try something new if he decided to do it, he may not be able to sleep the day before doing something he really wants to do next morning, he just can't wait!!

This person may know you for a day or two but act as if he knows you since years. That's why when this type meets the other type the first time the other type may get a little shocked. Also, that person may get nervous very fast so be aware not to bother him because most likely he will start a fight, unlike the other type who may be less likely to lose his temper if put in the same situation.

When both of those types meet, number two always interrupts number one while speaking and he may get bored. On the other side, number one should be a little faster in talking and decisions making in order to communicate well with number two, else problems may arise.

Lip Size

Big lips: The person with big lips tend to be very talkative, you can hardly find him silent, he likes to talk a lot and tell stories, he provides a very good company when in a group but if not accompanied with good listeners, people may end up frustrated and nervous from the amount of talking he did. When you want to ask for directions on the street, pick someone with big lips because he will give you full detail on how and where to go.

Small lips: The person with small lips tend to be less talkative. He tends to have his private life separated from others and may hide his internal emotions and feelings. He can also keep secrets for years, unlike the big lip guy who can hardly hold a secret!! Unless having some strong influencing force like religion to hold him from spreading these secrets. this person may be very cautious and not an adventure lover.

Lip Line

What is meant by the lip line is the imaginary horizontal line we can see drawn between the two lips when they are closed and touching each other. That line may be straight, straight but with ends pointing downwards or straight with ends pointing upward.

Ends turned downwards: This person is the famous pessimistic, he always expects the worst. Make sure you take that into consideration when taking his opinion about something. One of the great benefits this person can be of is discovering problems before they happen because he may have already expected bad things to happen. If you are about to start a project and want to know all possible dangers that will face you, you can ask that person, and be sure he will point out to you every possible problem you could face.

Ends turned upwards: The optimist, this person is always expecting the good things to happen. He can encourage you much if you told him about a new idea. You can consider taking his opinion to get some motivation but be sure not to be lured by the very positive outlook he may give you, as there may be some kind of problems and bad future expectations that he is ignoring or not putting much value to it.

Straight lip line: The balanced, this person have got a balanced outlook for future events, he may be optimistic if conditions are good and pessimistic if things seem bad. That person could give you the most balanced opinion of a future project, given that he have got all necessary technical details.

Distance Between The Two Eyes

When talking about the distance between the eyes we mean the horizontal distance between the tip of both eyes. This distance in face reading determines the detail concern of that person. If the distance is small that person may be very detail specific and if it's large that person may be more interested at the big picture. To identify if the distance is big or small you must see if the distance between the two eyes is enough to allow a third eye to fit in between ( yes imagine if your friend can be an alien or not :) If the space is larger than a space for a third eye, then probably it's a big distance else it's small. Also note that people with broad face tend to have big distance and people with thin faces tend to have small distances.

Some one with small distance: That person have a very strong ability to concentrate. When he concentrates he is very focused and hates to be disturbed and so may get easily stressed. That person have got a big deal of interest in details, that is, if you are telling him a story make sure you include small details that other people may have no concern for it.

That person may also be of low tolerance if he was emotionally sensitive in addition to having a small distance, it may be very hard for him to tolerate temperature changes, traffic jams and external influences than can drive someone to lose his temper. This low tolerance acts as a multiplier for external influences and this person may easily get mad or angry on small events happening.

Someone with large eye distance: This person may have trouble concentrating for long periods of time. He is relaxed by nature and doesn't care much about the big detail. He is only focused on the big picture and that may make them good managers, try to notice all the managers that you have seen and you will notice that most of them are of this type or having broad faces. This person is much tolerant than the one with small distance, he can bear external influences without cursing so much.

Nose Shape & Size

Big nose: If you think that your big nose makes you look bad or that if you don't like its shape, cheer up, you have got lots of good abilities because of your big nose. People with big nose hate to receive orders and like to be their own boss. They don't like to do small tasks and prefer to make a bigger contribution, that's why those people won't be your bar tender nor you receptionist, they like to go higher in ranks and may fight for that.

People with big nose get bored easily from systematic repetitive work and prefer to work on something that is not referred to as donkey work. If you are a manager; handing off donkey work to those people will be a great mistake.

Small nose: The person with a small nose does not have problems in dealing with repetitive and systematic work, most likely you will find secretaries and people who do similar jobs have small noses. Off course they may get bored of routine work but not as fast as a big nosed fellow.

Eagle nose: The hooked nose or the nose that looks like the hook of the eagle when viewed from the side is what we mean here. The person with this type of nose have got the same characteristics of the person with big nose but with an exaggeration. In order to get along with him make sure to respect him and make him feel his importance.

The helper's nose: If the nose profile is concave with a round tip when seen from the side view then this person have got a helper's nose. He is called the helper because he has got a natural tendency to help others, he may join charity groups for the satisfaction he feels on doing these kinds of activities. The only draw back is that sometimes his friends take advantage of him by making him do lots of things instead of doing the tasks themselves.

When nose tip is round: If the nose tip is round when seen from the front view then this person is nosey!! He likes to know about everything and he may strive to get out of you information about topics that he only knows little parts about. Don't make him feel you are hiding something in order to get along with him. What's pretty funny is that the word nosey here is related to nose which shows that this word may have had a face reading origin.

Nose profile going up: When you view the nose from the side view, the horizontal line at the bottom of the profile may not be horizontal in some cases, instead it may be going up. A person with this kind of nose trusts everything, he may be a victim of trust or fall a prey to a television commercial that advertises for a certain product.

If you noticed small children's nose you will notice that most of them are of this type, and as we all know children believe almost anything they hear. The good advantage that person have is that he is not skeptical at all.

Nose profile heading down: The same as the previous case but the difference is that the profile is going down instead of up so that the nose appears to be pointed downwards. This person is very skeptical, he can hardly believe something new unless he has got all the clues he wants. When dealing with him bear the large number of questions he may ask you until he gets convinced.

Nose profile is horizontal: when the same nose profile is horizontal then this person is neither skeptical nor beliefs everything, instead he has got a balanced approach when hearing about something new.

The Shape Of The Chin

  • Pointed chin: The person who has got a pointed chin is a stubborn person just like the one with long front teeth. Having both features tend to make the person very stubborn with a big resistance that can be triggered upon pushing against him. In dealing with that person you must use flexibility because pushing against him will yield no result.
  • Square chin: The person with square chin is called the challenger, as he always challenges events by getting up when he falls and by never giving up until he reaches what he wants. Usually he is very competitive and considers everything even playing sport as a challenge rather than having fun. This person have got also a very good ability of pointing out pros and cons of an issue which makes of him a very good consultant and also makes him a debate lover. To get along with him avoid igniting his fighting spirit and take his opinions into considerations.
  • The small chin: having a small chin is usually associated with having a pointed chin. In face reading whenever the face features are smaller relative to normal people then this means that this person is a sensitive person. People who have small chin along with small face features are very sensitive to criticism and to overwhelming life events. Criticize those people and they will hate you, shout at them and they may not approach you again. In order to get along with the sensitive person try to be more nurturing than formal.
  • Round chin: The person having round chin is a friendly person, he is neither aggressive nor harsh. Remember the impression you got when you first saw Martin Lawrence in the movie big mama's house? She seemed very friendly because of all round face features she have got. This person loves social gatherings and usually is a nice company to be with. If you entered a new place, for example, a shopping mall and needed to ask for help the best one would be someone with round face features and if in addition he had big lips (talkative) he will be a perfect pick.
  • Protruding chin: What is meant by protruding chin is that when viewing the chin from the side view it seems to be protruding forward rather than being perfectly vertical (just like the chin of evil witchs in cartoons). This person cannot let go of things easily and holds to them as much as he can. He does have something called semi finished projects and he rarely quits midway and that apply to relations too.
  • Receding chin: The person with receding chin is exactly the opposite of the person with protruding chin. The person with receding chin is the type of person who have got lots of semi finished projects because he finds it hard to commit to something to the end until he is in real need.
  • Neither receding nor protruding chin: The person with a chin that neither protrudes nor recedes has got a balance approach concerning commitment to activities. He may be neither a midway quitter nor a person who commits under any cost.

Face reading is an art and we believe it or not; when it comes in predicting future or describing characteristic we all get excited.
