Keep your mouth Shut: - IIT Madras Bans Students for criticizing PM Modi

Human resource development ministry has made an “inquiry” against the group of IIT students of Madras for allegedly making comments and tarnishing the image and criticizing PM Narendra Modi , on the policies of beef ban, land bill and being pro corporate. Ambedkar Periyar Student Circle (APSC), is a group of students organizing the activities which criticizes PM Modi policies based on beef ban, pro-corporate and when dean was informed about it, he banned the group from organizing any activity within premises, However they started distributing pamphlet in which the land bill, the beef ban were criticized among other things.
IIT madras dean Sivakumar M Srinivasan has supported the decision to ban the students and also said that they were misusing their powers given to them by college. It is however easy for the dean to suppressed the voice of paucity of students and shut them down. In the letter to the IIT director on May 15, Prisca Mathew, under secretary to the government of India, wrote, "I am directed to forward herewith a copy of anonymous letter alleging serious complaints received from students, IIT-Madras along with pamphlet issued by Ambedkar-Periyar study circle on the above mentioned subject and to request that comments of the institute may please be sent to this ministry at an early date."On May 24, the IIT dean, Sivakumar M Srinivasan, sent an email to the APSC informing them that they had been "derecognized". However, APSC pointing towards the discussion that this decision has been made on the basis of an anonymous complaint, how can it be authentic.
Even if you believe that these particular policies is unethical and could cause major problems in the upcoming decades but, keep your mouth shut; otherwise you will have to face the same fate. It is as simple as that.
