Is tolerance a sign of weakness ?

Tolerance is a sign of weakness and helplessness, the best example is Gandhiji.
He asked Indians to show tolerance when India needed to fight and gain Independence from Britishers.

Even America, they too were ruled by Britishers, but they didn't keep quite like us, they, fought for their freedom and achieved it. That gives them pride and confidence that they could defend their country form anyone.

But in our case, we didn't actually fight and gain Independence. There was nothing left in India after the 100 years of loot by the Britishers, so they thought India is no more resourceful and they left us and we boast that we gained Independence through non-violence and treat Gandhiji as the father of the nation.

Tolerance in no way, had helped India, most of the time, it's a sign of weakness.

well i dont believe in that for me tolerance is the sign of humanity.See take for example if we are talking about the time when Britishers used to rule India they use to exploit people but they used to harm innocent people .
But did Gandhiji believed in that he believed in path of truth and tolerance. If he would have wanted then even he would have declared a straight violent war against Britishers and bet for this we would have really won that but ye didn't he went for it .. because that would not be the solution for the problem and the other point that Britishers left because they didn't find anything to loot more. Is that so ?? well i believed that they left the country because they get defeated by the Gandhism.. the power of truth and satyagrah ...

Tolerance is the sign of weakness which can be converted in to strength if you understand that keeping mourn is of no use and now you have to revert those dreadful memories will help you to take your revenge . If you keep on taking crime on you as a habit, then nothing is going to change and you keep on facing the problem and praying the god, that someone should come and help you.
