no comments ;) , mods and ya thread starter must take care of giving directions to debate , which was lacking in it. you can say one can stay out of it ( EgO stings hard) but cannot promise to take your measures.

there is one debate posted , can kindly come and support if that is the purpose ;)

Well nice views rinku.... and i have touched very salient points. Even though mods try their best to ensure that the discussion goes on smoothly, it rests upon the thread starter and the more active participants. There is no moral policing by others, but self policing...

Anyway, kindly get back to the topic.

wel i dnt agree with it. i mean we live in a country which has its own culture and it does not include all this. thr r limits for everythng. kissing can b done privately. atleast i wont go for it

kissing in public is total no for me.. i mean a little peck on the cheek is harmless but please no heavy duty stuff! as it is, public display of affection is not received very well in india what with the self proclaimed moral police always on the lookout to catch some harmless couple and charge them with obsecenity! moreover, it gets slightly uncomfortable and embarrasing if we r with some elders and see a couple kissin on the street..such emotions are still not publicly displayed in india so youngsters shud stick 2 kissing at some private place only i guess! peace! :)

as far as our indian society is concerned we know it should be prohibited but as per me juss pecking and all is ok but not nything beyond it.

its not really acceptable cuz a kiss has to be something personal, and kissing in a non personal atmosphere aka public places can also mean ppl are doing it for lust and not cuz the care about each other.
ppl have to understand that girls have a certain status and if v see a girl kissing a guy on the road she is looked down upon like she is some slut, how can a guy be ok with ppl thinking about his girl like that.

in a naughty sense it can be ok to steal a kiss in public to admire the look on ur partner's face, but still not acceptable

Well it seems to be undesent in India as lotz of people are against it and neither our culture allows us.

u indians should bahave maturely n leave our double standards.kissing is a natural form of showing love.love is no crime.everyone does in dark n behave as it is a crime 2 show appreciation.that's why we Indians r sexually frustated n rpe n harassment is rampant here.

No. I disagree. Indian culture doesn't approve of this. Simple affection is ok and can be shown in a more healthy way. Although kising is nowadays very common and seen in most movies and even in sitcoms have also made there way into news stories. I really cant imagine whch direction we are moving to.

Dont you think kissing is also shown in the movies alot...i mean i saw it jhoombaraber jhoom...hmmm....mabey the culture might change in 5 years time?
WHAT SAY?
