Is boarding school beneficial to children?

boarding school...i have not been to one, but i feel with every thing in this world, there are some positive and negative aspects associated. since i have nt been to a boarding school therefore i cant really comment on the issue, but i wud like to share my hostel experince while pursuing MBA. a hostelier is definitely more confident and independent than a guy who has never been to an alien city on his own. hostel life gives a feeling of independence an responsibilites. your life, your view, your opinions but also it tells you nt to corss the line. i think same process go on in a boarding school, where child get to manage his or her own tasks, makes him independent, makes him take a stand, a confident person, but at very tender age, things can go a little nasty, like senior junior relationship, especially if an adolscnet is being inducted into a boarding school. so all in all if u tryst ur ward, and keep checks on him or her, boarding school can be a great place, but for parents hu send their children to boarding school so as to shun their responsibilities, thinking boarding will take care of their ward, they tend to be horribly wrong.

The child in his formative years explores more when given a proper guidence
so when he's small he should be with his parents
 
boarding schools r in a way beneficial as they mould children properly and aptly....hence overall growth is achieved.
 
i think that boarding schools make kids more independent and able to deal with various situations plus its a lotta fun...
 
hi every body i'm sending this message to share my views on the given debate topic :SugarwareZ-241: in my view every thing has both aspect so first of all i'll say that it is very dangerous for the children to live without their family bcoz there should be someone to understand the fillings of children and care them but it is impossible for someone else to understand them.they will fullfill those things in other ways and will very dangerous for children as well as for society:SugarwareZ-241::SugarwareZ-241:
but in other side it will give them competition to face and oppurtunity to prove themslves. they will get practical knowledge along with team work and help in understand the other things:SugarwareZ-282:
 
boarding school is good.. but only after a certain age.. sending a kid to a boarding at a very earlier age would spoil the relationship between the parents and the child.. on the other hand the child could get quite responsible.. there are both advantages and disadvantages..
 
boarding school is not at all beneficial to students bcoz it deprive child from his basic right of getting love from parents ( i.e. the nearness to parents )
 
acc to me it help making the children more independent n they learn to manage things themself which is heplful fr them in near future
 
they teach you to be independent and self reliance.... u really learn a lot when not under protective shelters of parents

boarding school makes a child more independent ..more ready to face the challlanges of the world but at the same time it parts you awaya from the family and you become little indifferent towards emotions...

boarding is some wht helpful,,,,,,,,,,in boarding d child comes to know d value of parents ......they come to know about d surrounding........dey prepare themselves to tackle d situation after coming on public platform.......but dis is not obvious for all child.....its depends how dey learn
