well yes 20: 20 is the new face........of cricket and support this by giving you three points..

1. Time - i think it is the main factor....which will enhance nd uplift ...the role of 20 20 in cricket.........in this competing world , whr each nd every one of us are working hard 4 living and taking out 6 to 7 hrs frm daily life is a big deal ( (except if it is an india pak match :P ). But not now ..u can see the whole excitement of a cricket match in just 3 to 4 hrs ......

2. more exciting.- with 20 overs of cricket ....u will see rain of sixes going into the stand.......as it is seen in this world cup ..over 200 sixes

3. non sided match- we had seen major setbacks in this world cup . minnows defeating the top teams...like zim def aus , ban def west ind
so it will not be like prepredicted matches ...whr top teams are expected to win

so it win game of strategy and control ........with a lot of excitement
 
all r mad abt 1 ball......11 players are control that...11 for sumtime with hand...and another 11 for sumtime with bat. to get name in this world.
 
Yes, definitely it is the new face of cricket as far as the entertainment is concerned. At the same time, it is the worst in quality cricket compared to other formats. there is also an argument like, 20 20 format will ruin the cricketers career not only on the physical aspects but also their individual way of playing the game. at the end of the day, 20 20 is the new face of cricket in any point of view.
