IPL Spot Fixing: Slap on the face of law

Yes!! I am not the fanatics of IPL and I don’t have to do anything with it but, yes I am the citizen of India and I have some doubts which are infuriating for me. Today, Patiala House Court in New Delhi dropped all the charges against Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila involved in IPL spot fixing 2013 and we all lashed harsh comments reprimanding police for their bungling investigation. Court says, there were lack of evidence so, who is responsible for it? And if we believe that this players are innocent then why they have to face such ordeal? This is the what slap on the face of law proves right.

This is not the inception of such cases where the innocents have to suffer, there are myriads of cases where people live this materialistic world and their verdict is yet pending. What is the use of law when people are terrified with its implications, they can suffer loss but not the trials of court, why? After two years of hell like life they say lack of evidence, sorry for inconvenience. What punishments have been taken against police who failed to do their job?

This decision shows the darker side and even scintillating of our law. Darker side is when people fear for justice not because they do not want justice, they fear the slow process and procedure of our law and the brighter side is that innocents are given justice. We have to make our law stringent to avoid such ordeal and prevent people from suffering.
