IMPACT OF WELFARE MEASURES ON THE EMPLOYEES
OF MUTHA GROUP, M.I.D.C., SATARA.

• ABSTRACT
Present study is an attempt made to identify the welfare measures provided and impact of the same on the
employees of Mutha Group (Automobile Sector). For the purpose of study, dianostic inferential research type is
used and data is athered from !"# employees out of $%$ permanent employees of the orani&ation coverin
almost all the five units of Mutha Group with stratified random samplin techni'ue. A structured schedule is
used to (now the opinions of the employees on each statement and data is analy&ed throuh the statistical
techni'ues li(e percentae, mean, standard deviation, Mann )hitney * and +hi S'uare ,ta. -arious literatures
of .ndian authors from international /ournals in the time period of $#!!0!% are also revised for the purpose of
the study. 1he study established that the statutory welfare measures are satisfactorily provided whereas there is
no proper system as far as non0statutory welfare measures are considered. .t also reveals that there is positive
impact of welfare facilities on the employees of Mutha Group.

s matter of #reat satsfacton that ma4orty of the respon!ents o+ser$e that most of the %elfare facltes pro$!e!

employees to%ar!s ther 4o+. But they are lac&n# n canteen facltes, sttn# facltes, recreatonal act$tes,

steps to mpro$e those measures so that the employees can !o ther 4o+ effcently.
