Indian Air Force is the most reputed defense organization in India. Its history precedes World War II by eight years. IAF is welcoming the candidates who are most adventurous in their attitude. The applications for IAF are invited from the Electronic/Mechanical Engineering students doing pre-final year and final year to join Technical branch as permanent commission officers. Structure of IAF Commission Exam- Tech
The candidates have to face 100 questions to be finished within 120 minutes. Each right answer will be given 3 marks and negative 1 mark will be graded for each wrong answers. The questions are of multiple choice questions. The paper is divided in to

In order to apply for the test the candidate must have the basic qualification
The minimum qualification is post graduation in either subjects English, Mathematics, Physics or Defense studies, psychology, Statistics, Economics, computer science, MBA, Engineering, students can apply for the examination.
The candidate must have a percentage of 55% in aggregate for semester/year in his/her graduation
The marital status must be unmarried Male/Female
The candidate should be age of 18 to 28 years at the Time of the apply
The age limit between 20-23for P.G and, in case of MBA and CA the age limit is 20-25 unmarried.
How to Apply?
The application form for IAF entrance exams will be available from the selected centers of IAF. The form again can be downloaded from the official website http://www.careerairforce.nic.in/. The form has to be filled with necessary information and send to the related address before the final dates.

How to fill the Form?
The candidate will be provided with the booklet when they buy the application form, go through the booklet very precisely and fill the form very accurately. The candidate can use ball point with black or blue ink. Don’t use pencil. Candidate must be very careful while filling the posts, category and post codes. The DD number must be added to the necessary columns. A passport size photograph of the candidate should be pasted in the form. In case of online form a photograph has to be scanned with a size of 50 kbps.

The candidate must have a clear format for his/her studies. The syllabus for the four papers are given above and detailed studies has to be done from more than one references. The format of the examination can be obtained from the previous year question papers. Analyze it properly and the mathematics and reasoning part have to be prepared well by repeatedly doing the problems. It is advisable to attend the coaching classes for at least a year to make the exam quite worthy. Otherwise it will be difficult to answer the reasoning and mathematical part in short time. Be mentally prepared for the examination as well as the future carrier, as the IAF is one among the most reputed organization in defense. It is advisable to learn soft skills before get in the organization.
How and Where To Get the Results?
The results will be available from the official website of the IAF. The candidate has to enter his roll no and Date of birth for getting the results. The official website to search for the result is http://careerairforce.nic.in. The selected candidate will get invitation for the successive rounds.
Score Validity
Till the vacancies are filled till the announced vacancies are filled or the next examination is held. But the score cannot be carried to the next year.
