Well i think Luck plays some role in our lives but i think the much bigger thing is our hard work and i think if we have self confidence and capability to do something, we can change our luck with our hands.
In my life i have achieved many things and all my achievements are result of my hard work and i strongly feel that luck only support us when we are hardworking and confident.
Ex - A student cannot clear his/her exam by just depending on luck without studying anything.

Luck is grabbing the right oppertunity at the right time. But still you need hard work and brains for that. Surely luck is important but you cannot sleep and wait for luck to come into your way, you need efforts and dedication for that and yes to believe in yourself.

luck is very important.....but that does not mean we shud not work hard...it shud be coupled with working hard and dedication..their combination is awesome!!

Ask a successful person how he got there and he'll say it was pure hardwork and nothin else ya...so luck is perceived as sumthin automated but it isn't ,:SugarwareZ-174:it's the result of a person's past deeds and actions,these things simulate an environment for the person according to their being bad or good that's what i think is luck

Luck is one word, which has different meanings - Miracle, Destiny, Coincidence is 3 of them which I can think of right now. The problem is that it is very difficult to say which of these is the correct term to use when LUCK happens to you?
MIRACLE- Last week a news was flashed across all the news channels in India. A lady fell off a train in the tracks and lay there for 120 seconds, while the train passed over. People were terrified, thinking what will be the plight of that poor lady. When the last of the boggies passed through, people rushed to see what happened. And there this lady was, unconcious, but nothing more than a few bruises. Now, is that Luck or Miracle (I would say both). When God plays a vital role with your Luck, it becomes MIRACLE
DESTINY - Suppose you have struggled very hard, burnt the midnight oil to achieve what you wanted to achieve. But on the judgement day, you realize that you have performed really bad, and there is no hope of passing that examination. And after a few days, when you see the result, your name appears on the top of the list. Here you were Lucky, because you were DESTINED to pass that examination.
COINCIDENCE - Perhaps the most mysterious thing on earth. It happens with us every now and then. Imagine you are walking down a road, thinking about something or someone, and all of a sudden you see that thing or person coming from the other side of the road. It was as if your thought was materialized even before you finished thinking. Were you lucky to meet that thing / person? or was it just a COINCIDENCE? No one can say for sure

yes ,im truely agreed dat luck do play an imp role........take 4 example the rickshaw pullers-they r hard workers but if they had good luck they would have stood sumwhere else. yes, smart is also imp but ......sometimes u dont get selected 4 a post just becoz of 1 mark.......its hard luck!!!! but if u have good luck u need to realise it and use it at the rite time and offcourse at rite place.

luck plays a crucial part in ones life.......but i don't call it luck i always say probability when u say probability u become mere scientific in ur approach and regarding hard work it comes before luck without hardwork luck/probability vl not favor anybody
