Structure of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University BHMCT Entrance Exam

Those who want to get admission for the BHMCT course offered by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University have to attend a written entrance test. The written test is of objective type format and contains 150 multiple choice questions. Total marks awarded for the test is 600. The time duration of the test will be two and a half hours. For each question one of the four choices will be correct. The candidates who mark the correct answer for the question will get four marks and one mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. Those who got good score in the entrance exam are eligible for getting admission for the BHMCT courses offered by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

The test consists of questions from four different sections. The questions are from the following areas.

Section 1: English Language & Comprehension (45 Questions) (180 Marks)

Section 2: General Awareness (30 Questions) (120 Marks)

Section 3: Logical and analytical ability including Computer awareness (45 Questions) (180 Marks)

Section 4: Knowledge of accounts/commerce & Science (30 Questions) (120 Marks)

Eligibility Criteria

The basic condition for the candidates to apply for the BHMCT entrance test conducted by GGSIPU is a pass in the Higher Secondary Examination with at least 50%u0025 marks in aggregate from any affiliated University. The candidates should have passed English in their plus two level. The candidates who are going to appear for their qualifying exams are also eligible for the test. The upper age limit of the candidates for this test is 21 years.

How to Apply?

The application form and admission brochure for Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University BHMCT entrance exam application forms are available from the branches of Punjab and Sind bank. The form can be obtained by the cash payment of the application fee. The interested candidates can submit the online application form through the University website www.ipu.admissionhelp.com.

How to fill the Form?

The instructions provided in the admission brochure should be followed by the candidate for filling the application form. The form reached after the due date will not be accepted. The form should be filled correctly by the candidates. The candidates have to take the photocopy of the application form and keep it with them for future reference. A recent photograph of the candidates has to be affixed in the form. The candidates have to send in Registered Post or Speed Post. The form should be send before the last Date. The demand draft of Rs. 1000/- from any nationalized bank should be enclosed with the application form.
