Features are extras to a product, which are of value to the buyers. They are improvements provided for more comfort and convenience. They are of two types

i. Rational, problem solving


ii. Emotional, fancy

The consumer is willing to pay for the solutions to the problems he has in using the product. The features, which capture the attention of the buyer, are less functional and fancier in nature.
