Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Andhra Pradesh conducted an entrance exam Engineering Common Entrance Test for Diploma Holders Entrance Exam (ECET FDH) each year for the selection of appropriate diploma holders into the second year B.E/B.Tech courses. This exam is conducted also for the selection of appropriate candidates for the B.Pharm courses. Structure of ECET FDH
The selection of the candidates will be on the basis of the written test. The written test includes Multiple Choice Questions for three hours. Each question consists of four options and the candidates have to choose the correct answer from the given options. The candidates can answer all the questions. The test is conducted for evaluating the plus two subject knowledge of candidates. No any mark is reduced for the wrong answers. The candidates who secured good score in the written exam will be called for the counseling session and finally selected.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should possess certain qualification criteria for attending the entrance exam. Most important of them is the candidates should have a Engineering Diploma in the specialized branch with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University. For applying the B.Pharm course the candidates have to pass the D.Pharm course with 60% marks. The candidates who have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics can also apply for the course.
How to Apply?
The candidates can obtain the application form and information bulletin for the Engineering Common Entrance Test for Diploma Holders Entrance Exam (ECET FDH from the selected Main Post offices. The form will also be purchased from the designated branches of Andhra Bank by the payment of the application fee. The exam application fee is Rs.300/-.
How to fill the Form?
The instruction booklet get along with the application form contains all the details about the eligibility criteria, syllabus, form filling guidelines etc. The candidates have to follow those instructions while filling the form. Any mistakes in form filling lead to the cancellation of the form. The completed application form with all needed enclosures should be forwarded to the Convener of ECET FDH exam In Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Hyderabad. The filled application should be submitted by the person in hand or by Registered post or speed post before the last date. After the last date candidates can submit the form with the late fee.
