Company Description:
Building a new Canadian Exchange that leverages innovation, technology and competition to level the playing field
and better serve long-term investors.
Aequitas NEO Exchange Inc. has entered the Canadian capital markets to establish a new stock exchange that will
seek to restore the original purpose of an exchange: the efficient allocation of capital between issuers and investors
as a central force driving the Canadian economy.
Position Purpose:
The data analyst will be responsible for ensuring our enterprise client relationship data and pipeline reporting is robust
and accurate, and will be instrumental in designing, building and generating the required reporting capabilities to
provide senior and executive management with tools to make informative business decisions.
Responsibiliti es:
• Customer relationship data maintenance, data collection, cross-channel data integration, reporting +dashboards,
data visualization, data mining, predictive analytics, brand and competitive intelligence, site surveys
• Implement measurement strategies, learning agendas and roadmaps with input from internal stakeholders
• Package deliverables in an articulate and easy-to-understand fashion with a clear storyline that addresses client
business needs
• Develop innovative approaches to articulate business value and impact
• Maintain positive, collaborative partnerships with key internal stakeholders and clients
• Exhibit strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
• Partner with Business Development across business lines to identify opportunities for business growth and
development across the accounts
• Create and maintain accurate, planning and analysis reporting and distribute all reporting in a timely manner
• Provide analysis and assist with preparation for key management and board meetings
• Assess, recommend and implement metrics and analytics with modeling for more effective internal and cross-
functional business practices
Technical Skills:
• Experience with multiple CRM solutions
• Database management
• Forecasting and planning
• Data analytics
• Microsoft Office (including advanced Excel, PowerPoint)
Education:
• Financial background
• Quantitative studies a plus.
• The equivalent combination of education, training and work experience may be suitable
Experience Requi rements:
• 3+years of work experience in a quantitative business environment
• 3+years in client and financial analytics
Travel Requirements:
<5% (or less than 10 calendar days per year). Under exceptional circumstances, a request may be made for
additional time (up to 15 days) with reasonable notice
