Does God exist or is he a man-made creation?

god exists he is not some one's creation but he/she is the faith that one has . They say for a drowning person a small stick can also be a life saver if he believes in it ....in the same way god is a hope and faith which gives people strength in difficult times.
 
there is some supreme power which governs the fate of everyone .we may name them by any sort of name . may it be god
 
Why I don't believe in God

It took me some time to clearly rationalise the reasons why I don't believe in God, but finally I came down to these:

1. I see absolutely no empirical or physical evidence for the existence of God. Suggestions such as "there must be a God because of the wonder of nature and the universe" are childishly stupid and don't stand up to even a moment of critical consideration. Many of the wonders of nature can be perfectly well explained through science - those that can't will be in time as our scientific knowledge expands.

2. On the contrary, I see much evidence for the non-existence of any God. The world is full of cruelty, poverty, disease and unhappiness, and I cannot accept that a loving and merciful God would allow this situation to exist.

3. I am unwilling to accept on blind faith what seem to me to be fantastic stories of long-ago events which were poorly documented many years after they supposedly happened. The Gospels were written 70 - 100 years after the supposed death of Jesus, in an age without newspapers, TV or computers, and with few written records. How can anyone give any credibility to stories written on the basis of such flimsy records?


Conclusion:
God doesnt exist. people already created illusion and asking to prove its not illusion. fact is not decided by majority.
 
I believe the God does exist!
It is a force whom we can thank or blame when thinks go / not go as per our assumption.
It is a absolute truth in the darkness of lies and inconsitencies.
So rather than questioning the existence of GOD, He can made a unique answer to all unexplained queries.
 
God... What is GOD ?

Yes, someone callled Krishn existed. Someone called Ram , someone called Jesus, someone called Mohammad existed. And, they all did something great in their time so that they were hailed by the people of their time. And as time moved, their reputation and awareness spreaded (even when they were no more there), otherwise why do we stil know them?

But, Were they God....... What is GOD ?

Its doubtful that they could be considered as god. (If , god is someone who has magical powers)

(Totally personal opinion. No offense with anyone having different idea about god and would like to know them too!)

if u want to know d answer for dis question....try observing urself...when u do something wrong or bad...u will hear a voice saying that u r doin wrong..that is ur conscience..anything u do that conscience warns u beore u do that work...that voice can be called as ur god....
 
Every people has a diffrent perciption about this.
Because, in my point of GOD is nothing but the great people.
Many of us thinks that Our parents are god and some people think that Ram, Krishan are god.

But definetly there is akind of supreme power upon which we have belive and this power always support us .
 
I believe in God and i have my own reservations for that matter. but i cannot argue about others beliefs. it depens on one's own attitude towards this.
but i strong object the VEDAS. i cannot accept those as a thing to be followed.. vedas are written for the "so called forward community", by the same "so called forward community". it should be noted that i dont criticize the bagavath geetha or bible or kuran.. they are valuable books.
Only with hinduism, God's avatar has come to earth. but with other religions, the people of refference are only messengers from God. so it depends on one's mentality, how he perceives these characters. but i believe in muruga,krishna, rama n all other Gods.
 
god is very much exisiting & i think it exists in everybody.The very proof of existance of god...is...the...miracle of life & death.....we are still unable to understand it...why it happens so.....hence lakhs of people in india worship god...b'coz there is some omniscent & magnificent power which lies up there...which controls us.
 
i really think god is a man-made creation......they are created to make people follow a particular relogion and keep them socially engaged....so that our brutal government can keep doing its business of politicsand no men or women comes up with a critical thinking of it( the government).....
 
it doesnt matter whether god exists or not...but when ur feeling really depressed or sad, atleast the thought that thr is some1 above u to take care f u is enough a motivation to keep u going ahead...widout god there is no hope and widout hope there is no man!!
 
continuing yesterday's discussion...i again that god do exists...In small things if we see,we can feel him/Her....Once u experience hi/her bliss,u are totally in awe of it...mesmerised....by his love & affection.
 
GOD is not man-made...people might think its just a human thought inorder to hav control on our conscious..but i think it is d governing body that helps us in our doings..it helps us to choose between right n wrong....i truly believe in GOD..
 
i would like to point out to Mr.Prateek that, god, may be in his point of view be man-made... but definitely not for political purposes.. there are many evidences to show us that ppl have started believing in god before civilizations, before any govt came in2 existance..
