COMPUTERISATION
The Bank has adopted a Customer-Centric strategy for building strong interactive relationship with its customers. Keeping this objective in view the Bank is in the process of implementing the Core Banking Project on turnkey basis in association with Wipro Ltd., as prime integrators and Infosys Tech Ltd, as solution provider.
The first pilot branch under core banking solution has already been operationalised on 31.3.2004 at Bank’s Corporate Banking Branch at Bangalore.
A state of the art Integrated Treasury Management project has already been put in place as a turnkey solution provided by Synergy Login IBM consortium.
A payment gateway has also been set up at Bank’s head office at Bangalore and the required infrastructure has already been put in place for pilot/ live run of the Real Time Gross Settlement system.
The Bank has implemented the corporate e-mail solution using INFINIT infrastructure of Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology. Head Office Regional office and 728 branches and offices are connected to this facility as at the end of March 2004.
The future plants of the Bank include implementation of an Enterprise Resource Management System covering Human resources Management system, General Administration, Inventory and Fixed Assets Management and Corporate Governance Module.
