CEE Kerala - PG Dental Entrance Exam 2015
Applications are invited for the Entrance Examination for admission to MDS Courses – 2015 to the State Quota seats in the Government Dental Colleges at Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode & Kottayam and to the 50% seats available in the Sell Financing Dental colleges in Kerala.
Eligibility for PG Dental Entrance Exam 2015
- Academic:- Applicant should have passed the BDS degree from any one of the Universities in Kerala or possess a BDS Degree duly recognized by the Dental Council of India from a Dental College duly recognized by the Government of India under the Dentists Act, 1948 They should have completed one year Internship (CRRI) as per DCI Regulations on or before 31-03-2015. Admission to the candidates will be given only after obtaining Registration of Kerala State Dental Council.
- Nativity:- Applicants should have satisfied any of the following conditions: Be an Indian Citizen of Kerala Origin.
- Age :- There is no upper age limit for General Quota candidates. For service candidates from DHS, MES and IMS, upper age limit will be 52 years as on 01-01-2015. subject to the conditions in clause IV (c) of the prospectus.
- Entrance Examination: All candidates including service candidates shall have to qualify the “Post Graduate Dental (MDS) Entrance Examination,Kerala-2015″ to be conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE) on 11.01.2015 (Sunday), 10 am to 1pm,atThiruvananthapuram. It will consists of one paper of three hours duration and having 200 objective type (multiple choice) questions.
- Qualifying Criteria: All candidates shall have to qualify the Entrance Examination for MDS courses-2015 to be conducted by the CEE as per the following Passing Criteria. General – 50% Marks, SC/ST/ SEBC/Service Quota (SQ) – 40% Marks, Persons with Disability(PD) – 45% Marks
