Cerebrate, Case study competition at IIM-Indore, has seen a tremendous response from students all over the country. Case studies pertaining to Finance, Marketing, HR, Operations and IT were put up. By going online, It has set a new trend and has made it easier for students to participate from the place of their choice.

In each of the events, the elimination round consisted either of a pertinent quiz or a case study, solutions to which were to be submitted by participants within a given deadline. Candidates performing well in the prelims would be shortlisted and be asked to solve a case study in the final round. Results of the first round would be put at Ahvan - IIM Indore.

Title-Cerebrate Operations

Cerebrate Operations aims at bringing together the best minds of the country to analyse and deliberate on real life corporate issues in operations management. Round 1 ended on 9th Nov with 77 entries from all over India .The response as well as the quality of analysis done in stage 1 was very encouraging and indicates that operations management is drawing increasing importance with excellent career opportunities in consulting and in marketing companies, along with the conventional manufacturing and logistics companies. The 5 teams that would be coming to Planet I on the 21 Nov, include ISB Hyderabad, IIM Calcutta, IIM Shillong , IIM Indore and NMIMS. The judges for the event include ,Mr. Rohit Kapoor, Faculty, IIM Indore, Mr. Vineet Kanaujia, Vice President, Marketing, Safexpress and Mr. Vipin Awasthi, Safexpress.So, come and leverage your management acumen to analyse a live case study and earn your glory of being the Operations Guru.

Title-Do you have it to Cerebrate IT?

Cerebrate IT, IT case study competition at Ahvan, IIM-I’s annual management festival has seen a tremendous response from students all over the country. The event has gone online this year. What this means is that students can participate without having to come to the institute’s premises.

The students would be evaluated on the basis of the solution of the case study put at the event site. The judges had listed some key issues to judge the analysis; which if identified by the participants will win them bonus points. The results of 1st round will be announced by the evening of 14th Nov. The shortlisted candidates would then be given another real-life case study in the 2nd round

With the deadline fast approaching, the participants are racking their brains hard to unravel the case and be in contention to become the case study czar. Results of the first round would be put at Ahvan - IIM Indore. You can email your queries to [email protected].

Title-Cerebrate Marketing

Cerebrate Marketing, with the marketing quiz in the preliminary rounds generated a lot of buzz. The prelims quiz had many interesting questions from the world of marketing. The top performers in this quiz would be shortlisted for the next round where they would be asked to solve a marketing case study. With the results just round the corner, there is a lots of anticipation and tension among the participants. Results of the first round would be put at Ahvan - IIM Indore.
