Well I think that is inappropriate to make facebook as a website for any company because no matter what facebook say it lacks privacy and it is now too much open to act as a website.As far cost is concerned then I think that there are many other tools that can create a website for free example Weebly - Create a free website and a free blog

Yeah, that's true facebook can be used as next company website page, even most of the small companies, which don't have their own websites, they have mode their facebook page, and promoting their company through a different facebook campaign. Well according to me Facebook can be used as one of the tools to promote the company but it cant be use as a website tool because every company as a its unique brand logo(forms the unique identity),company details ,products and services offered by the so all this vast information cannot be shared on facebbok.so every company should have separate website.
