Benefits under the Small Scale Industries Schemes:-

Since the company is registered as a SSI, it avails the following benefits:-

 Cheap Bank Finance

 Under the government’s Focus Scheme, the company is funded by 50% for buying the machines.

 Duty Drawbacks

 Exempt from Sales Tax

 Exempt from Excise Duty

 Its even easier to get licenses and permissions

The company is registered under the Export promotion Council for Leather. The Export Promotion Council works as a guide for the company. It guides the company, in case the company has to get licenses from the DGFT (Director General of Foreign Trade).


It makes them aware if there are any changes in the drawback rates, labor laws, changes in certain procedures, exclusion of certain items during the manufacturing of shoes etc.
 
Small scale Schemes are basically target for the short term period and their main focus is to generate direct response. This is highly used during festive season and whenever there is the urgency and growth is scaling down. Small Scale schemes are also beneficial for the small scale industries as well as to the MNC. :peace:
