Are we ready to cope with TATA's 1 lakh car?

Guys, we all know that TATA is shortly coming up with 1 lakh car (ex-showroom) and even Renault is planning to come up with a cheap car in collaboration with BAJAJ.

Well thats a good news for all the youngsters who have just starteed earning, can get rid of their bikes and own this cheap cars.

But the problem: ARE WE READY WITH THE NECESSARY INFRASTRUCTURE.

A million dollar guestion to be answered.

So guys I request you all to pour in your ideas and lets see if we can find a good solution.
well I think we are ready to buy it but we are not ready to manage it because of increasing number of vehicles in metropolitans and other big cities and lack of proper infrastructure.
Since its a cheap car and easy to own, it will have a big market but it can create havoc on roads

i think its only for those people who have avg income bcoz they would prefer 1 lakh car instead of Rs, 80000 bike n d reason z safety in d car.....there r no. of ppl who dont prefer bikes for unsafe reason so dey will go for 1 lakh car...

When I am driving my bike and I see a Maruti 800 driving, I get extra cautious. Who knows he might be still learning ;)

I dont know what to do when I will se a Nano

i think tata nano project will be not so sucessful becoz of inflation & global financial crisis i think there timing of rollout luckwise seems to be unlucky

:SugarwareZ-275:TATA's 1 lakh car will create an NICHE in the market the person who they were not able to purchase the car now they can easily purchase a car and fullfill their dream
as we know that the india is a country of middle class people so it will help them to enjoy the car. now some companies will also some with better price and better facility it will create the competition among them like telecom companies and finally rate will come down:SugarwareZ-179:
it will also increase the consumption of fuel and it will cause the traffic jam in the city

i feel the govt should come up wid a vehicle traffic policy based on the congestion level of the city..like nano sure be surely allowed in towns where people need a 1 lakh car and the infrastructure and congestion level allows but what will happen if everyone owns a nano in already congested mumbai....its somethin which intellects will have to decide but moreover again it will become hot debatable CSR topic for equality of rights....

more than any of the other things.. pollution and traffic control needs 2 b taken into consideration. coz every bike owner wud then rather prefer a car and does our country have those kind of roads and control measurements.

tatas one lakh cars...do u think it will have a great market.. according to me ...
it will attract high class and upper middle class people nd hw peole use to buy scootys to their daughters or hw bycycles are replaced by scooteys..similarly these cars will replace them...

TATAS r going to come up with this car but what about mileage, sitting capacity??But when we talk about price it shows that "LOW PRICED CAR " is going to target students also but if they target students there has to be style and mileage because a bike like pulsar which is winning the hearts of teenagers and which gives the combination of mileage and style.Teenagers like speed will that be satisfied by this car?? Many such question r there which goes against this car?
