are we happy than our forefathers>??

Well im happy with my forfathers. as athey had stress free lifes because ther needs were less..in 2day's world our basic needs have increased..to make us hstressfree
 
Well i totally agree with u that we r not at all happy with any work that we do these days, as we are under constant stress all the time. Our previous generations were fortunate enough 2 be born in that time where they didn't have so stressful lives. Although even they had many problems 2 face. But the fact is that they were happy with whatever they had whereas we r all living in a generation where everybody is behind money & greediness is the order of the day. But i would like to conclude that we are still lucky enough 2 be born in this generation, as the future generations r going 2 face still more complex problems than us & their lives r going 2 be real HELLLLLL!!!
 
maybe our forefathers has less stress... but they had less option too.... and life expectancy has increased .....
 
This is not the topic of debate both have different problems and stress. If you ask a kid 2*2 then it will be difficult for him to answer and if you ask same question to the school going boy then it is called as insane. Well, the point is you cannot gauge the bliss or sadness ratio both are generations and each generation have different sort of problems and happiness.
