Are heroines naturally beautiful?

Well, in the silverscreen almost all the heroines look beautiful.Needless to say they are having hrs of make-up session coming before the cameras.So is it only because of the make-up they look beautiful or they are naturally beautiful(wen compared with others) which when added with make-up makes them gorgeous?

no, there are lots of example in cinema industry which show that heroines are naturally not beautiful, todays make up make her beautiful.
 
I do not agree. Although heroines may look more beautiful by using makeup but if they don't have natural beauty then makeup will be useless. Take the example of Madhubala or Nutan these actresses were naturally beautiful so make added to their beauty.
 
Not at all. They r rarely beautiful. Infact they luk very much ordinary, less makeup. Onscreen everything flabbyness, pimples get hidden.

If only u get hold of watchin their Original pics, u can c the world of difference. But they know how to carry themselves, n make a impact with style.

Infact Ishaa Kopikar once turned on the sets without makeup, the role required her to and the crew member-technicians didnt recognise her, n asked to leave. Its only when she identified herself.

Likewise many r way too short, Rani, Ayesha Takia, Riya Sen, infact if u surpass them or seated besides them, chances r even u wudnt recoginse, no matter even if u r a movie buff. One of my friends workin in Magazine Publishing didnt recognise Ayesha Takia seatin besides at an Awards Function.

No doubt abt their SEX APPEAL though.
 
definitely no ... given that the make up artist spends hours on them before every shoot, an ordinary person can look spectacular too.

i have a neighbour who is pretty average looking... she got this fabulous make up artist for her engagement .. and honestly she ended up looking like one of those models in the saree-ads.

the sad part is that young girls see this impossible standard of beauty and go the extremes trying to replicate it.
 
cant say on this coment...because some heroines like madhubala, meena kumari,nargis are really beautifull..without any makeup..but now iff u see the heroines without make up u never accept she is the same heroine on screen..
 
i agree to this statement that heroines are not naturally beautiful except for some u won,t be able to recognise them without makeup and it is sad that the young girls are following their footsteps and wasting there precious time in makeup

and spoiling there natural beauty . it is the makeup man who should get the credit for this

firstly, i m not agree with the statement.......... "Heroines are naturally beautiful".............

I m agree with juned786 as Actress like Madhubala, madhuri Dixit were really beuatiful........... but they r d rare ones.......... almost all actress of bollywood shows good beuatiful image on-screen but actually they hav dirty face off-screen............ it is the makeup-man who should get the credit for this...n not actress........

WELL IN MY OPINION, HEROINES R BEAUTIFUL, THATZ Y THEY R HEROINES! OFCOURSE THEY HAVE THE SKILLS TO ACT, BUT ITS THEIR BEAUTY WHICH ATTRACTS THE MASSES!

i disagree to u coz one need not be beautiful to be in the film industry today there are so many examples of heroines who arent beautiful but with the help of make up n surgeries hey make themselves look beautiful take d example of rakhi sawant, sushmita sen n aishwariya rai, etc .....
agreed that earlier thee wer no such facilities availible n only beautiful females got d chance of becoming heroines but today any dam girl can become a heroine .....go on to this link n chk it out by urself.........u will come to know d difference.........

I have a complete different view...I think all the heroine r beautiful...whether new or old...as they work hard and try to put some glamore to attract audience to improve their marketability...

all r beautiful and hard working...they really slog...at work..

i do not think dat all heroine r naturally beautiful. its the heavy make up n lights dat make dem luk so glamourous on screen. even dey have bad hair days n bad make up days. to add to dis i wud say dat inspite of my opinion there must b sum who r naturaaly beautiful but very few.
 
i dont think so any one is naturaaly beautiful. everyone is made with ome or the other surgeries of make-up

in fact i find all of them fake no one is actually beautiful. probable katrina is best of the slot.

My view is that Indian heroins are naturally beautiful. Foreign heroins are not. This is my 1st person experience. 2ndly it depends how you define a heroin. It can be a drug which can lead to a different debate altogether.
 
Well..almost all pretty or u cn say photogenic gals r noticed by directors n producers and are made actresses...dey r naturally pretty but r made more by d make-up ppl..n are exaggerated..
