Structure of Allahabad University M.Ed Entrance Exam
For getting admission for the M.Ed programmes in Allahabad university, the candidates have to clear the written test organized by the University. The written test consists of objective type format of multiple choice questions. The test includes 250 questions from three sections. The time provided for completing the exam is two and a half hours. The questions are mainly asked from the B.Ed curriculum. Each question consists of four options and one of the answers is most appropriate to the question. The candidates should find it from the given alternatives. Those who clear the written test will be eligible for getting admission for the M.Ed courses in Allahabad University

The written test consists of questions from the topics studied in the B.Ed course. The syllabus for the test is mentioned below.
Section 1: Mental Ability (100 Questions)
Section 2: B.Ed Subject Ability (100 Questions)
Section 3: Language Ability (50 Questions)
Eligibility Criteria
The minimum requirement of the candidates to apply for the M. Ed entrance test conducted by Allahabad University is to complete the B.Ed exam with 55% marks from any reputed University. The candidates must obtain their degree through a regular course. The candidates must also be a graduate with 45% marks. The SC/ST candidates have to secure only 45 % marks for their B.Ed exam. Those who are ready to appear for the final year exams can apply for the test. They have to submit the certificates proving their eligibility at the time of the admission process. The candidates should have an age between 21 and 35 years.
How to Apply?
The application form for the entrance exam for the Allahabad University M.Ed courses can be obtained from the Accounts Office of the Senate Hall Campus against the cash payment of the application fee. The cost of the application form is RS.600/- for the general candidates and fee exemption is allowed for the reserved category candidates. How to fill the Form?
The exam notification includes all the instructions for filling the form without any error. The candidates should follow the guide lines. The form should be filled by the candidates in his own handwriting. The filled form should be submitted with all needed enclosures. The filled form should submit in person in the Education Office of Allahabad University before the due date. The incomplete form and form reaching the University after the notified date will be rejected. The form send by post will also be rejected.
