Eligibility
Master's Degree (minimum two years prescribed duration after 10+2+3 years of formal education) in relevant discipline (relevancy has to be decided by the IIFM) with at least 60% marks in the Master’s degree and with good academic records.
For IIFM Graduates, who have done PGDFM and IIM graduates who have done PGDM, the minimum OGPA of 3.33 (equivalent to B+) in 4.33 maximum scale, is required.
For those qualifications where the above 4.33 scale is not available, the eligibility will be decided by the Equivalence Committee constituted by the Director, IIFM and its decision will be final.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit is 45 years as on 30th June 2009 of the 1st year of the commencement of the programme.
Admission
Based on CAT or GMAT Score (not older than 2 years CAT 2007, 2008) or UGC-CSIR NET. Candidates who have a PGDFM from IIFM or PGDM from IIMs with minimum OGPA of 3.33 out of 4.33 can apply directly. Eligible candidates with 5 years work experience (4 years for engineering post graduates) can also apply, but will have to appear for a Written Test at IIFM. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Interview.
How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to submit their applications in the prescribed application form with all supporting documents mentioned in the form. Application Form & Prospectus can be downloaded from the website Indian Institute of Forest Management or can be obtained in person or by post by sending a request along with bank draft of Rs. 200/-. Completed application forms (accompanied by a demand draft of Rs. 200/- for forms downloaded from website) in favour of Director of IIFM, payable at Bhopal, should be sent to Chairperson, FPM Admissions, Indian Institute of Forest Management, Nehru Nagar, Bhopal - 462003 (M.P.) so as to reach IIFM latest by 15th February 2009.
