The Intl. terror machines at work again

The global terror networks seem to be working overtime and also on an overdrive. The almost simultaneous hit on the Western European financial powerhouse as well as on the Russian diplomat, seem to be baffling. It would probably mean that some forces eager to enrage some of the most powerful government systems at the same time, after having been at the receiving end from the USA already. Or more probably various splinters with different interest at works. Both ways it depicts huge challenge. In the first case, it depicts confidence that members of the network are so well intermingled that they have little to fear even when challenging the strongest of powers at the same time. While in the second case, there is a mercenary character willing to take odd jobs on anyone’s behalf even if they draw strength from some of the ideological ‘backers’. Proxy wars in world’s hotspots between political leaders to establish political supremacy including business interest often ignoring the interest of ordinary people, seems to be giving rise to ever new flare-ups.
It also reflects that the global powers seem to be failing to conjure some workable strategy to protect their citizens. This while they seem to have already failed to put together some coordination mechanism or find some common ground about the troubled region. Being paranoid about political supremacy while failing to think ‘people’ seems to be clearly reflected. It doesn’t help that the political powers that be, seem to be losing values, and pursuing ‘political interests’ in a wild goose chase. It doesn’t help that the powers seem to pursue peace in recess while powerplay as well as military muscle are chief décor of the leaders. In fact the commercial mass media in particular the western media seems to have done very little in this regards. It doesn’t help of course that organized military machines including their stooges in commercial mass media have continued to promote propaganda, while very less time have been spent on questioning the same, not to say reversing the trend. However instead of attempting to win over a greater people to inspire them to some positive pursuit, much time seems to be spent for working on securing political interests even if in contravention to local people interests.
The rise of a section of people to take to arms seems to be mix of failure of the intellectuals to help describe situation in detail and reach out to larger masses and also easy availability of finance and resources for such pursuits. Instead of ameliorating the situation where information and knowledge flows freely, howsoever disliked by the powers that be and curbs on terror funding & armaments; we have pursuits amongst big influencers to capture even the social media space so that independent voices are subdued and die down its natural death. As social media continues to rise in importance (and one of the chief reasons would be ability to bring up a rainbow of thoughts by numerous people), one of the areas where enthusiast must probably work upon is to reverse this trend and ensure that powerplay and military muscle is pursued in recess while the peace becomes the chief décor. It may be noted that there is no dearth of political stooges on the social media as well as is the case of commercial mass media, however since they pay is zero or negligible for people on the social media, so there is greater hope. Let’s see the game evolve further…..
