AGRICULTURAL FINANCE :


The total agricultural advances of the Bank as at March 2004 stood at Rs.1437.43 crore, as against Rs.1181.25 Crore as at March 2003, showing an increase of Rs.256.18 crore, registering a growth rate of 21.68% over March 2003. As against the benchmark level of 18%, the achievement works out to 13.70%.

Under Special Agricultural Credit Plan, the Bank has disbursed Rs.796.71 crore to Agricultural Sector. During this year, the bank has issued 27047 Kisan cards as against a target of 26000 cards, and disbursed Rs.84.51 crore.


From the inception, the Bank has issued 126943 kisan cards and disbursed Rs.510.40 crore. The kisan card holders are covered under Personal Accident Insurance Scheme.
