<h1>XMS (XAVIERS MANAGEMENT SOCIETY) X-TALK</h1>
Xavier's Management Society is pleased and proud to present X-Talk, 2013. In a quest to broaden the horizons and outlook of our management students, Xavier's Management Society (XMS) has initiated a platform in the form of a panel discussion- X-Talk. It is an interactive session which aims to serve as a platform for the confluence of intellectualism and enlightenment. With this session we, in XMS, wish to invigorate in each one of us the spirit of excellence and success through the contours of motivation and inspiration. X-Talk is such a platform for national stalwarts to come and help shape the mind set of tomorrow’s India.
Last year, we were privileged to have our Former President H.E. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam as our speaker. This year X-Talk, 2013 shall be testimony to be an enriching and enlightening panel discussion.
The panelists for this year include people who have been leading stalwarts in their own fields and are prominent national figures. They are:

The motion for X-Talk’13 is
Social Media: Re-defining the Facets of Human and Public Equations.
This topic deals with the growing influence of social media in the equations that cut across our daily cultural, business, global and social lives. Being widely considered as the fifth estate of democracy, the role of social media has come under immense glare. With this motion we wish to understand the nuances and intricacies of how this medium is changing our fabric in such an intrinsic fashion. The topic also underlines the increasing relevance of it in democratization, disaster management and even public diplomacy. It raises a potent question as to whether Social Media will be the fifth estate of our democracy or will it just be a flash pan of a few events and occurrences.
