World Rose Day is observed on September 22 every year in remembrance of a 12-year-old from Canada who was diagnosed with cancer (Askin's tumour). In her last months, she wrote several poems, letters, and articles for cancer patients expressing a strong optimism for survival. Since, the rose is a symbol of love, concern and tenderness, this day is observed to bring happiness among patients who are fighting cancer. The day is dedicated to spread awareness about the disease that is often a result of abnormal cell growth and has the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body. So, to give hope and a positive vibe to a patient, you can share these messages, greetings and quotes with the cancer survivors
