If you ask what can motivate me to do productive work in office? Then I would say the following and I believe I will get n number of supporters for the below points as well. Hence here I go……..
First of all I will be happy if I get flexible working hours, say like if I get an option to work for 8 hours but no compulsion as such that you need to start the work form 9 in the morning and complete the 8 hours, but it should be like I am given the freedom to complete the minimum condition of 8 hours that suits me. For example if I reach office by 11 in the morning I can complete the minimum condition by staying in the office for 8 hours. What’s say!
Secondly I would love to work at a place wherein work is fun, because if this is the condition at workplace the morale definitely gets affected and gets raised. I’ll feel more excited to work and put in my 200% at work. Having work and fun balance at workplace can obviously motivate me even if the workload increases the stress level will always be at the minimum.
If you put in your 100% efforts from your side and everything required to do a certain event or work and if you don’t get that amount of success, you aren’t blamed for the wrong, infact your efforts are appreciated well. Reward effort as well as success. This stimulated innovation and positive behavior, not 'winning.
Dole out cream and sugar. During the busiest times of the year, executives at the Cigna Group push coffee carts around the office, serving drinks and refreshments to their colleagues. Similarly if the same condition exists at the office, I would be obliged and degree of happiness will obviously burst.
