Think about how words have changed your life.
Remember back to the day when your favorite teacher paid
you a compliment on your school work.
Or your friend said something that hurts you still to this
day. The first time someone said "I love you" or
"I hate you."
It's amazing how words can stay with us for years, even
decades, and completely change our self confidence and our
decisions to do things.
Words - something we are born listening to, we learn how to
speak them in a very short period of time, and by the time
we are 5 years old we have grasped thousands of words and
their meanings.
When we are 5, we know that "I hate you" will make our
parents cry. Or "I love you" will make them smile.
At 5 years old, we are already learning how to manipulate
words to suit our needs and to get what we want.
At 15, we use words to get ourselves out of trouble.
At 25, we use words to help us get a job if just getting
out of college. Or if we didn't go to college, we use
words to get ourselves better and better jobs that suit our
lifestyle and our dreams.
At 35, we are using words to try and teach our own children
the right things to do and say.
Each decade has new teachings and new discoveries on the
power of words.
What you must always question - are you using your words
to maximum effectiveness?
What if simple 5 word sentence could get you almost any job
you want?
Or 3 words that will always get you the best seat in a
restaurant, anywhere in the world.
When you learn the power of words and how to train yourself
to use more effective words - everything changes.
Things come to you easier, at less cost and with less
hassle.
Sales increase dramatically when you find the words that
convinces people to buy. Changing one word in your sales
script can double your sales - is that not a lot of power
held in one single word?
Small businesses are constantly battling for more sales,
more profits, more growth. Without those - you are out of
business, people lose jobs and families can be broken.
