Women empowerment stands for empowering women with the legal and social rights , education , awareness about self and the world.
The increased divorce rate can be attributed in part to women empowerment since women being more aware of their legal rights would not mind walking out of a violent or unfulfilling relationship.
As women become more independent financially ,there is a lesser probability that a women stays in a relationship out of sheer necessity and obligation.
On the other hand with women doing as well as men if not better the traditional indian male might find it difficult to have a more succesfull second half.

Yes i agree to the points in view. In a case the woman was seeming to be jealous of the partners success in life and thereby many a times would argue against.

It totally depends on perception and how you take it. Well, there are chance and might possible but this is not the only reason. Perception clashes is also one of the main reason in for divorces. Women empowerment is good and we all should support women. Why do we all fight as men and women. We both have to walk together for the betterment of our nation and development.

In my view, women empowerment is a thing that has been started to let the women know about their legal rights. Somehow it has given them power to take action against the Violence's upon women in society. Relationship and women empowerment are two distinct things. Relationships are based upon understanding and two people respecting each other.
For this reason empowerment of women cannot be a cause behind the number of increasing divorces. If a husband is satisfied with his wife who is working as well as maintaining domestic work at the same time, then the comfort of the relationship will always be maintained.
