It's the second day of the 48-hour Telangana bandh and schools and colleges are closed, entrance exams in Osmania University have been postponed and there are no Road Transport Corporation (RTC) buses on the roads. There is also no solution yet in sight to the stand-off over the demand for a separate Telangana state.

As more resignations poured forth from leaders from Telangana across different parties on Tuesday, the Centre indicated that it was open to a new round of discussions on whether Andhra Pradesh should be bifurcated.

well truly commenting on how things go on........ i feel this matter wherein no one is gonna take a step ahead with no matter whatever consequences they might have to face...........the spirit of leadership and aggressive lacks and hence ppl have to face such situations wherein they have to sit at home waiting for the results to comes..........

With a population of 40 million, the proposed Telangana state comprises 10 of Andhra Pradesh's 23 districts, including the state capital and India's sixth most populous city, Hyderabad. A bone of contention is, of course, Hyderabad. Opponents of the move are unhappy that the city, home to major information technology and pharmaceutical companies, would become Telangana's new capital.

Telangana was a 50-year-old demand,I dont think it can be solved in near time.Protests are still going on,people should wait and have faith in Indian Government
