Hi guys,
The Indian film industry received its 'Corporate' status in 2000. Even though it has since been recognised as an industry, banks and other financial institutions shy away from financing films due to the enormous risks involved in the business. Canara Bank and Indian Bank, have borne major losses by financing films.
