Toyota is leader simply because of its work culture.
Toyota's processes and activities are so systematic that both employees and their managers can produce their maximum efficiency @ work.
Toyota evolved key management terms which companies lack to follow - 5S, kanban, kaizen, 6sigma, TQM, etc (i remember few only)

They are truly the world class manufacturers. Dont forget lean manufacturing was started by toyota only

I would like o point out that Volkswagen is set to beat Toyota after its buy out of Porsche however Toyota's patented management practices and work ethics are the major reasons for its run at the top

the main reason for the toyota is being ahead becoz they r using quality practises like kaizen,jit,six sigma due to the usage of all these practises they reduced the cost to a very low level which acts as a competitive advantage over the rivals........
