Why don't MBAs opt for Govt Jobs?

According to a recent study almost 75% of the officers in key positions would be retiring in the next seven years in government sector of IT and Investment.

Why do you think MBA's don't opt for govt jobs?:fencing:

less payment & more competition make it tough for MBA people to get in gov. jobs as they also have quota system which decrease the chances of selection.

Actually, I think after doing MBA from IIMs (A, B, C). They wanted to face real competition that they can only find in private sectors, not in government, after that MBAs are made to pay their own path, they want more freedom in decision making and making strategies, in government sectors, they can not go beyond a limit. Things are quite set and well structured. I will put salary in a second main concern...
