Initailly the social networking began with the idea of a few friend chatting on the net. Gradually it became place to meet new people, when some celebrities and senior executives also started using it to easily connect with others, the whole thing has become a fashion, then it became forum for promoting ones own profile, ideas etc.
As time passed, social networking shaping according to the needs of all types of individuals and hence it graduated from luxury to a need.
