Whom to blame - lack of Infrastructure or lack of Intelligence?

Terroist activities are on the rise everywhere.There a futile attempt of the terrorist activity a in Britain a couple of days ago.They were able to naildown the possible suspects within 2-3 days.What made me to think is that,when Scotland Yard or FIA are able to naildown the suspects within a fortnight,Why can't India atleast do the same even years after the incident.

For Eg. There are lot of murder cases pending without even nailing down the possible suspects/terrorists.Is it due to the infrastructure problem or is there a lack of intelligence.Infrastructure ,I mean is the closed circuit cameras installed in high profile places in foreign countries,complete GPS Tech which can spot where a vehicle is running at any second.


So whom to blame- lack of Infrastructure or lack of Intelligence?

My call wud be the lack of intelligence.The infrastructure can help you to nail down the case faster.But intelligence plays a greater part in a case.Most of the cases in India are going endless even after years.Moreover,the terrorist attacks are being done by the foreigners who are easily entering the country with fake passports which can be easily curtailed with the current systems in place in India.We are hearing news everyday about the intruders from Bangladesh which can aslo be prevented.I also accept that there is lack of infrastructure but it can't be a scapegoat for prolongment of cases for so many years.With intelligence you can overcome the hurdle of infrastructure.

Deepak, seems you missed on the the most vital link. Lack of honest [SIZE=-1]bureaucrats.

Try to compare the educational qualifications or the kind of social work / change of foreign ministers with indian politicians and you will gather that its beyond comapaire.

While the ministry in developed nations strives to serve their citizens, ours is busy doing under table deals and putting such matters to rest by appointing commisions which cannot conclude even after the 5 yr term of the government changes.

instead of blaming d infrastructure or d intelligence or honest bureaucrats its better to solve d prob frm its root cause.........
i mean rather than waiting for a prob or a case to arise n thn solvin it better try n c to it tht it doesnt arise in its place for first ..........
still as a mater of fact i wud to with lack of intelligence ofcourse...........
 
Well I feel, its lack of infrastructure, talking about terrorists again, while the have the finest weapons life laser guns, etc. in some cases, what do our policemen have for defence, an outdated gun with limited bullets, so even if the intelligence (the amount and quality of inspectors we have) is good, they cannot function properly...

We talk about CCTV's near junctions, and all.. But do they operate properly.. For this monsoon, govt had promised that they will install CCTV's near major low line areas to have a realistic picture of water logging, and about 160 CCTV's were to be installed before 1st week of June, but where are they...

So u sees, we have intellignce (they came up with the idea of installing CCTV's at lowline areas), but the problem is of infrastructure...

i am totally agree with you....
you cant belame infrastructure or lack of intelligence alone.
 
More than that its Complete Lack of Will Power. Neither Lack of INfra or Intelligence is the prob.
Our Police are good enough but dont enjoy backing n free hand from politicians.

C the Recent Blasts Case, and what one of the Learned Opposition leaders Sushma Swaraj says "It is done by Congress, to withdraw attention from the Cash for Vote case" Disgusting isn't it?
Infact for this kind of statement which is completely maligned with political rather than national interests, she shud be thrown out of the country with a 24 hour ultimatum. Once such dictum is passed, politicians will be bit responsible.

Just to draw political mileage, she is saying so irresponisbly. Even Uncle Sam Bush acknowledged and asked Pak PM to control the Terrorists out there. So even he knew the blasts are handiwork of whom.

Actually, the thing is all of them want Problems like these in the Country, coz if at all they solve these problems, bridge the gap betn rich n poor, literate the nation then they cant Win on emotion n sentiments. So in order to keep there Political Throne they ensure India ultimately remains segregated on hundreds of bases. They'll only talk, n do nothing.

There r only 2 Big Partys (Cong n BJP) & they know One or the other is goin to enjoy 5 Years, so their Turns r ensured. If at all like us, whole country becomes educated it will be serious prob for them as people wont fight over Tiny issues n create votebanks.

So Vision 2020 will be replaced by vision 2050 n like, only to create Feel Good.
 
It is due to lack of Will Power. Those responsible for making investigations are not interested in solving the cases. Also, they are aware that nobody is going to question them.
 
I think it is because of lack of infrastructure, if proper technology is used to track people particularly visitors other countries much of this problem will be solved.
 
i will say the root cause for this is the poltiticians and the bureaucrats.coz of them only these terrorist r freely doin things on their own......even sum of the ministers r supporting them......our infrastructure is good also the intelligence but due to our great polticians we r not able to do nething.....

lets think this way.why are we only taking it as lack of infrastructure and intelligence..
we all know about the petty situations of politics in our country.
And yes we should not be blaming the politicians only....we have to see that there has to be a CHECK ay everypoint for all levels of people, infrastructure, methodologies.At my institute we have created checks for students as well for the staff..
Simple as , we need to have a centralized effective control points, that is not possible due to lack of coordination of various state parties..Just like the we have one moderator to take care of the community against malicious posts.
we should be the part of solution and not beating around the problem...
 
lack of communication between intelligence people and different wing of police and army that makes it impossible to stop terrorism
 
well its all about ur attitude which open new horizons,u pave your way through, you can be up the ladder. what is required is intelligence which can automatically leverage infrastructure. the way you visualise,channelise ,your intellect inn constructive direction would open doors for anything,
 
even if the intelligence is there... they have not really used it anyway for the lack of infrastructure that exists in the country!
