Who Leads Growth in Emerging Markets?

With the relative slowdown in mature markets’ growth, multinationals are looking to emerging markets to meet their targets.

Yet many are discovering that entering and defending positions in these fast-growing economies is harder than anticipated.

To succeed, corporate and regional leaders must work together. But who should lead?

An initiative from the regional leader is the important factor in my view.

with that do you mean regional leaders are more manipulative than corporates ?:SugarwareZ-057:

What do you mean by who? The MNCs obviously have huge power of brand, reputation, capital and so on. So, its not difficult for them to take a lead. As they have good knowledge of market, I mean where to sell their products and how to sell their products in different markets.

So, if the lead is between a Local Corporation and MNCs, then in my opinion MNCs will have easier time in the race, and who wins depends upon the power of a local corporation.
