Which one is better Wired or Wireless Networking

As per my point of view, computer networks for the home and small business can be built using either wired or wireless technology. Wired Ethernet has been the traditional choice in homes, but Wi-Fi wireless technologies are gaining ground fast.

Both wired and wireless can claim advantages over the other; both represent viable options for home and other local area networks (LANs) as they come up with ease of installation, total cost, reliability, performance, security.

Further its up to the user how he needs the internet services, if he needs it while moving from place to another than wireless is the option and if he need at office or home than wired one is the option.

at present time in wireles.......technology..
its too better or cutting the cost for the future
some times its disconnect to our network but in times of 3g 4g its good for us

I ACCEPT THAT WIRED TECHNOLOGY IS THE TRADITIONAL & WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY ...
wired is always faster than the wireless.... & its true...

we always think fastr thing but we hve to think about human health & environment....wireless network can damaged & it always harmful for environment.... so, therfore i more wired as compre to wireless.....

thanks.....

wireless, definitely! the only pro for wire is the speed but it will be matched later with wireless technology adavance.

Wireless is definitely the future. As far as India is concerned,Wireless is yet to pick speed. We are slowly seeing some action in this front with companies coming up in USB modems..But the speed or subscriber base hasn't picked-up. So currently wired net is ruling the world.Once we have proper infrastructure for the wireless,I think its gng to make the life easier.

it depend your usability both have their different impact wireless is little slow as compare to wire but if you want to use remotely on shopping mall, car or else where then wire less is better then wire..

I think wired networking are less costly, speedier, and more protected than wireless networks. it also depends upon your needs because sometimes it is difficult or problematic running ethernet cables between rooms or floors. In wireless you get flexibility to connect your computers to the network.
