Hi Madhav,
I suggest you go for satellite programs i.e. PGCMM, PGCHRM etc. It has two advantages 1) It is equivalent to an MBA degree 2) You get a chance to have a real time experience of classrooms as you have classes twice a week through videoconferencing where you attend regular lectures. Also included in the package is 1 week campus component where you to visit the college and all important subjects are covered like a regular MBA.
All top B-schools run these courses i.e. IIM-Calcutta, XLRI-Jamshedpur & IMT Ghaziabad. Hope this information helps. Please feel free to revert for any further clarifications.
1.None of the distance education programs are comparable to regular or Weekend programs.
2. Anyday Weekend programs are better.
3. I am speaking from my own experience , I had enrolled for Icfai Distance learing program earlier and later dropped as there was no inclusive learning happening.
It depends on situation. If u have ample amount of time and just graduated then full time MBA is always the best option. but if has good working exp then symbiosis, welingkar. will good fit also Mubai University's 3 year MBA cource from various institute like JBIMS, Chetna, NMMS, Soumya also would be the great option.
I also suggest you for PGCMM, PGCHRM etc. Besides Institute now are giving MBA + PGPM/PGDM. These are also helpful for sitting all Govt Examinations. But important is projects, alumni, faculty, corporate connect, seminar etc.
