Where quality stands in Management Education???


Quality and Management education has a visible linkage since the basic knowledge about the business will make the people competent and capable enough to make suitable decision according to the changing environment.

So quality should lie in every concept of the Management studies.

When a management graduate is employed in certain industry the employer have definite expectation from the employee.

The survey among the employers in India shows that the employees failed in meeting the prospect.

Most of the employers are forced to provide training for them so as to make these peoples skills match with their profiles.

So our management education system should rethink some of the aspects like the following to make our pass out students demandable and employable in the industries.

It is not just about management studies, most of the fields including computer sector has to provide training to meet their job needs.

Education system is not job oriented but only basics, so as to help before landing into a job.

Something needs to be done of this education >>>>>>lets bring out some creative ideas that can at least provoke some practical thoughts over making this education have a practical outlook and best practice>>>>>>
 
Certainly needs a change with a much more practical approach. Cramming books just can't be the only way to assess one's knowledge.

so do you feel the Industrial visits one have in their professionals courses in the later sems should be implemented from the start and an early age and not just in the degree courses

Yes, but probably only after knowing some basic knowledge. Industrial visits and theory works should be happening simultaneously at the initial stages itself. In this way, it is easy to apply what you learn.

If one has simply follow books and rules, it can never get someone being different with business or any approach in the real life.
