To protect the degrading environment, restoration is more preferable, though restoration and conservation may sound synonymous there is a thin line of difference between them. if we go deeper we'll find both to be completely different from each other..
Restoration brings about clearing the damage done to the environment immediately and is being practiced very well in many countries prone to environmental damage but unfortunately it has not gained enough pace in India which is one of the major ecologically important hot spot owing to some economical reasons.
Restoration needs nothing more than an individual's interest on the environment, farmers, agricultural scholars, help and fund from govt and NGO's.. proper implementation of the restoration plans in India will save the environment and many organisms dependent on them. restoration will in turn develop conservation.
