What is the biggest hurdle young entrepreneurs face in India today?

Fear of failure is the biggest hurdle. Caring too much about what people say is the other.

What do you feel?

"Fear" tops the chart like you said.

Fear is the one that makes you low with confidence, make one consider what others are talking about creating a social low esteem.

It is time that we stop following a flock, each one has to realize what could be done different to promote and innovate oneself. Lack of self-confidence and not thinking out of the box also turns out be factors.

Well, as a part of world's fastest developing economy and world's biggest market we are in a very strong position to be good entrepreneurs.

Now the major constraint in the path of going ahead with own business ideas is lack of self motivation and risk taking ability. I think young entrepreneurs are good in knowledge and making strategies but when it comes to take decision to implement the strategies and go ahead with some plan they loose the hope....

In India we are producing 1000s of graduates and post graduates, but sadly only 10 percent go on for self employment and businesses and rest join companies..

Major Huddles for young entrepreneurs -

1- Lack of Confidence
2- Doubts about own plans and their feasibility
3- Lack of proper guidance and support
4- Financial constraints ex funds etc
5- Restricted or bounded thinking

As per my opinion young entrepreneurs just need to be more focused with their efforts and should try to be daring to face the market, because once you out in the market their are ample opportunities which can really make you one of the best............

The basic thing is.......
1)employees think y to put extra efforts whn we are getting enough salary, hav a home, and a car to travel... ppl have very self satisfactory lives des days....
2)Lack of knowledge abt incentives and subsidies govt. is giving to do business
3) Lack of capital
4)loyalty
5)support
5)experience
rest comes secondary....

well for the first point my ans is that employees need to be motivated

2nd very true lack of awareness and GK which i guess any entrepreneur would have since it is regards subsidies who would not like to get benefited of it

3rd capital can be raised you know borrowed funds !!

4th planning yeah TOTALLY AGREED point over here

5th support of whom and why needed here??? and of what kind??

6th exp comes when we try to experiment and it comes overs years of experimenting and analysis

WHATS SAY!!

This fear of failure among the young Indians also assures that there may be no need to take much chances and therefore, possibilities of project failure will be less, that indicates that there isn't much learning going on either. And also impact on the innovation process.
